The Challenge

Small businesses in Slovakia and Central Europe needed an invoicing tool that understood local tax requirements, supported Pay by Square QR codes for instant bank transfers, and could extract data from uploaded documents automatically — without the complexity of enterprise accounting software.

Our Solution

We built FakturAi as a full-stack SaaS application: React 19 frontend, NestJS backend with PostgreSQL. AI-powered text parsing extracts invoice data from uploaded documents. The system generates PDF invoices with jsPDF, includes Pay by Square QR codes for Slovak banking, supports PWA with offline capabilities, and implements OAuth + 2FA authentication. Full i18n support for Slovak, Czech, English, and Ukrainian.

The Results

The platform launched as a production-ready SaaS product. AI parsing reduced manual invoice entry time by over 80%. Pay by Square integration made payment collection significantly faster for users.
