Senior Node.js Developer

About the Role

Join our backend team to design and build scalable microservices and APIs. You'll work on high-traffic systems serving millions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Build scalable microservices architecture
• Optimize database queries and system performance
• Implement security best practices and authentication flows
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Collaborate with frontend teams on API contracts
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases
• Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis)
• Understanding of microservices architecture patterns
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of API security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS or GCP services
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture
• Experience with Nest.js framework
• Background in fintech or healthcare
