Data Engineer

About the Role

Build the data infrastructure that powers our analytics and ML systems. Design scalable data pipelines and help democratize data across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines and ETL processes
• Develop data models and warehousing solutions
• Ensure data quality and integrity
• Optimize query performance and data storage
• Collaborate with data scientists on ML pipelines
• Document data systems and processes

Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• Strong SQL skills and database knowledge
• Experience with Python or Scala
• Knowledge of Apache Spark or similar
• Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Understanding of data modeling principles

Nice to Have

• Experience with Airflow or Dagster
• Knowledge of streaming systems (Kafka)
• dbt experience
• ML pipeline experience
